I am a marine scientist, working for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA); I am married, and our family is composed of 3 children, 2 cats, 1 dog and several assorted aquarium fish. Our household has more bikes than riders, and I am fully responsible for that. We like to sail on the Chesapeake Bay and go hiking/camping in the nearby mountains. Our kids have pretty busy social and school agendas, so there is never a dull moment in our house!
